What is the problem with glycerin?Updated 2 years ago
Glycerin is a sweet, colorless liquid that coats the teeth, stopping the natural process of remineralization. When glycerin is found in toothpaste, it prevents the teeth from benefiting from the minerals in saliva. It also prevents the teeth from absorbing the good ingredients in toothpaste, such as hydroxyapatite.
Fun fact! Wellnesse is one of the only natural toothpaste brands that is glycerin-free!
